I’ve got a pretty good collection of tools but to work on my Dana 60 I had to purchase a thin walled 1 5/16″ socket to remove the pinion nut. I also had to purchase a 2 5/16″ rounded socket to remove the Hub Nut. These can run you $25 – $40 if you pay retail price. I spent a half hour searching and got lucky on Ebay finding them both for the combined price of $20.00 They are both 3/4 sockets so I went the cheap route and picked up a 1/2″ to 3/4″ adapter rather than purchase a 3/4″ ratchet set because most of them are $200 or more.
