I decided to turn my 1997 E250 into a 4 Wheel Drive Van. In preparation to do so I decided to learn all I could about the Front Dana 60.
On this website I have shared everything I have found and put it in one easy to use place for other people working on their own Dana 60 projects.
I found my DANA 60 on Ebay from a F350 2002 super duty dually with about 60,000 miles on it. I paid $300
The Dually Diff and Axles (DRW) are the same as the SRW but there are small differences in the hubs. I was replacing the brakes, rotors and locking hubs anyway so it made no difference.
I’ll be using a 4″ van lift kit from U-joint Offroad
My personal experiences are only with the newer 1999 – 2004 Ford Dana 60 found on 4×4 F250′s and F350′s. I’ll be using a Sterling 10.5 on the rear of my project van.

My project is complete and I don’t really need this web site any longer. If you would like to purchase the domain name Dana60FrontAxle.com I’ll throw in the existing website for free. The first $3500 takes it.
Who would want to own this domain name? Over 5000 people a month search for the term “Dana 60 Front Axle” and this website ranks on the first page of Goolge for this search term. If you sell axles parts this would be a great domain name to own.
